Drama Group in Coventry
Established in 1959, The Saints Dramatic Society is a vibrant group dedicated to community theatre, offering an engaging experience for our members and our audiences. We perform plays three times a year in February, May and October and rehearse every Monday and Thursday at 7.30pm in Allesley Village Hall, Coventry.
Our enthusiastic members have a wide range of experience and have the opportunity to act, direct, produce, write, design, tech… in fact all aspects of theatre. There is a regular online reading group, occasional workshops and endless scope to learn new skills and hone existing ones.
Fun is the heartbeat of our community, it encourages creativity, innovation and a sense of belonging in an environment where everyone feels valued and heard. We understand that each person brings their own unique experiences and perspectives, enriching our creative collective.
Our wider community includes our audience, who return time after time and Allesley Village Hall and its many users. We support the Village Hall with ongoing maintenance and improvement projects and also make regular donations to local and small charities including The Albert Kennedy Trust, Coventry and District Samaritans, Alzheimer's Society - Coventry, Myton Hospice, Zoe’s Place and Tiny Tim’s Children’s Centre.
If you are interested in acting, directing, writing, stage management, set design, costume, lighting, sound, social media, publicity and would like to see what we do, please just come along or use our contact form to send us an email.
